William Daniel McBrearty

William Daniel McBrearty passed away on August 7, 2023 from causes due to his age.

He was born in Sacramento, Ca and lived there until in college he transferred to University of California at Long Beach. He met and married his first wife, Anne. They were married for 10 years and had two children Elizabeth and Christopher.

He married his second wife, Deborah Bynum in 1978. They were married in the Los Angeles Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Together they had four children, Bradd, Sydney, Lucas and Kelly. They were married 45 years until his death. He was preceded in death by his son, Lucas, January 5, 2022.

Bill went into accounting after college working for Touche Ross. He grew tired of accounting and switched to life insurance and started working for Connecticut General Insurance Company. He later worked for Mutual of New York.

He loved the outdoors and went fishing and hunting as often as he could.

His funeral will be held August 15, 2023 at 12 noon at the Rock Church in Cedar City, 75 East Center Street, Cedar City, Utah under the direction of Heartlight Funeral Services. A viewing will be held from 11 to 11:45 that same morning. Interment will directly follow the funeral at Cedar City Cemetery.
