Terry John McArthur

**Terry John "Bear" McArthur** *Sept 8, 1954 May 12, 2024* Terry John McArthur, known affectionately as Bear to his family and friends, passed away peacefully at home in Cedar City, UT on May 12, 2024. He was born in Las Vegas, NV, to John Mac and Thelma (Mosher) McArthur and was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Melinda Dysinger. Terry is survived by his devoted wife, Shelley (Elderkin) McArthur, his loving daughter Hollie Villaluz and son-in-law Robert Villaluz, his son Qwentin McArthur and daughter-in-law Joann McArthur, as well as his cherished grandchildren Tanner McArthur and Sydney McArthur. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, cousins, and dear friends whose lives he touched with his warmth, kindness, and humor. Terry was a family man through and through, finding his greatest joy in spending time with his loved ones. He was known for his unwavering love and dedication to his family, creating countless cherished memories together. His love extended beyond his immediate family to include a wide circle of relatives and friends, each of whom he held dear. Outside of his family life, Terry had a passion for sports that was unparalleled. From cheering on the Cleveland Browns with unwavering loyalty to enjoying baseball, fishing and golf, Terry's enthusiasm for sports was infectious. He found joy in watching games with family and friends, creating lasting bonds over shared victories and defeats. Terrys legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
