In Loving Memory of Silas
October 28, 2006 – September 5, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Silas, a beloved son, brother, nephew, and friend.
Born on October 28, 2006, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Silas brought love, laughter, and a special light into the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a beloved son to his mom and the only brother to three sisters. His mom, dad, and sisters were a huge part of his life, and the bond they shared was one that could never be replaced. Silas will forever be their son, their brother, their protector, and one of the greatest pieces of their hearts.
Silas had a natural passion for sports and a competitive spirit that could not be matched. An MVP in every sport he attempted, he gave his all to everything he did. Football was especially close to his heart, beginning in little league and continuing all the way through his senior year at Hillcrest High School. He was also involved in helping start the lacrosse team at Hillcrest, leaving behind a piece of his legacy in the school and the sports he loved.
But beyond the trophies, the games, and the accomplishments, Silas will be remembered most for the person he was. He was loving, loyal, genuine, and full of life. He was a friend to all and had a way of making people feel welcome. Wherever Silas went, he had a way of creating memories that people would carry with them long after he left.
In his free time, Silas loved going out with his family, fishing, spending time with his friends, and enjoying life. He cherished the people around him and the moments they shared together. Whether it was a day on the water, an evening with friends, or simply being surrounded by his family, those are the moments his loved ones will treasure forever.
His mom and three sisters will carry Silas's memory with them every day. They will remember his laughter, his personality, his stubbornness, his heart, and all of the little things that made him uniquely Silas. Losing their son and only brother has left an unimaginable emptiness, but the love they shared with him will never fade.
Silas touched the lives of his family, friends, teammates, coaches, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though his life was far too short, the impact he made was anything but small. May he lovingly reunite with his father in peace.
