Shayne William Faulkner

Shayne William Faulkner passed away on January 15, 2024, from a heart attack at the age of 50 at the Beaver Valley Hospital in Beaver, Utah. He was born February 6,1973 to Nick and Karyl Faulkner in Brigham City, Utah. He went to school in Layton, Utah and graduated from Layton High. He received his BS degree from Liberty University and was only two credits away from his MBA in business at the time of his death.

He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Connecticut Hartford mission. He loved his savior and served everyone that he encountered. He could reach people, especially the youth, in a very positive and enlightening way. It was his life mission to do the saviors work and he was a beacon of light to all.

Shayne married his sweetheart, Susan Lee Pitzak on December 3, 1998, in Salt Lake City. They were later sealed on November 1, 2002, in the Logan LDS temple. They have two amazing children, a daughter Sabrina, and a son Nathanael. They are the light of his life and whom he loved with all his heart.

In his early years, Shayne loved raising dogs, weightlifting, and riding motorcycles with his brothers and friends. He was such a loving and giving friend to all. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

Shayne is preceded in death by his father Nick Faulkner, brother Brett Skinner, sister-in-law Wendy Skinner, grandson Lorcan Faulkner, and many other grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends that he loved dearly.

Shayne is survived by his wife; Susan Faulkner (Pitzak); his children, Sabrina and Nathanael Faulkner; his mother, Karyl Murphy; his brothers, Christopher Faulkner, Nick Faulkner( Nancy), Courtney Faulkner, and Jeff Skinner (Nancy); so many neices and nephews.

The celebration of his life will be held Saturday January 20th, 2024, at Beaver 3rd ward at 220 North Main Street Beaver, Utah. The viewing will be from 9:30am to 10:30am. Funeral service will be at 11am. Burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver, Utah.
