Marjorie JoAnne West

Marjorie (Fuhrman) West, age 79 passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer

on January 2 in Cedar City, Utah.

Marge was born in Carrington, N.D. to Charles and Lillian (Edinger) Fuhrman. She graduated

from Grand Forks High School in 1962 and married Danny West in December 1962. They moved

to California to start their life together. In 1991 they relocated to St George, Utah where she

worked at a CPA firm for 9 years until a final move brought them to Cedar City. She enjoyed her

work at Leavitt Group for over 20 years. She also was an active member of Red Hills Southern

Baptist Church.

Marge loved traveling with her husband of over 60 years. She enjoyed reading, playing games

and meeting new people.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Mother and son.

She is survived by her husband Danny West, a daughter Gloria West and her partner Mary Murphy

a sister Sharon (Bill) Lentz and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the caregivers at Intermountain Hospital,

Sandra Maxwell Cancer Center and the home health aides that made her last days comfortable.

A celebration of life will be held at Red Hills Southern Baptist Church, 4277 Wagon Wheel Dr.

Enoch, UT 84721 on Sunday January 21 at 3:00.

A private interment will be held in Carrington N.D.
