Lawrence Marcus Maldonado

It is with great sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our Father and Grandfather, Lawrence Mark Maldonado of Cedar City Utah. He peacefully passed away with family by his side on November 25, 2021, at the age of 86.

He will be reunited with his loving wife Patrica, his son Joey, his grandson Jeffrey along with his parents Lawrence & Mary and his brother Norman.

Our Father will be lovingly remembered by his children: Eva Mayoral, Mari Kadlec (Jason), David Maldonado, Cindy Friedman (Marc), Lori Robertson (Chris), Beth Thompson (Bruce), Cynthia Morales (Tony), Kathy Hooper (Danny), Davion Maldonado, Ariana Wipple aka Ariel. Along with his 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Lawrence was a loving father and provided generously to all his children. He enjoyed coaching baseball for his 2 sons and the boys from the community. Not only did he enjoy coaching, but loved watching all his children play in their different sports. He would cheer them all on while pacing up and down all the different variety of athletic fields. His other pastimes were deep sea fishing and dancing. After many years of living in Eagle Rock, California, both Lawrence and Patricia moved to Cedar City, Utah, to retire quietly around family. This gave him the opportunity to watch his grandchildren grow up and play in the same sports as his children. Lawrence was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he enjoyed ushering and greeting other members. Lawrence enjoyed being surrounded by family, which always brought a loving smile to his face. Our father will truly be missed by all.

Our family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at All Seasons Senior Living of Cedar City for the compassion and care given to our Father. A special thank you to Annemarie Johnson (granddaughter) and her husband Skylar and the rest of the All Seasons staff who took such loving care of our Father/Grandfather.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday December 11, 2021 at 11:00 am at the New Harmony Cemetery. Interment will be in the New Harmony Cemetery under the direction of Heartlight Affordable Funeral Services.
