Kaia Devalle

–

St. George, Utah

On February 19, 2026, our precious little angel, Kaia Carol Devalle, returned to her Heavenly Father’s loving embrace at just three months old.

Though her time on earth was brief, Kaia’s life was filled with light. She had beautiful red hair, sparkling blue eyes, and a smile that could brighten even the heaviest day. Her sweet laughter was contagious, and in her tiny hands she held the hearts of all who knew her. She was just beginning to roll over on her own, delighting in simple things—car rides, grocery store trips, and being close to those who loved her most. She was, in every way, a cherished and precious daughter.

The suddenness of her passing leaves an aching space in our lives that words cannot fully express. Yet, in the midst of sorrow, we hold fast to the promises of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. We know that families are eternal. We know that through the Savior’s Atonement and Resurrection, death is not the end. Kaia is not lost to us—she is simply ahead of us. She is safe, whole, and wrapped in the perfect love of our Heavenly Father.

The scriptures remind us: “The soul shall be restored to the body, and the body to the soul… even a hair of the head shall not be lost; but all things shall be restored to their proper and perfect frame.” We find comfort in knowing that our perfect little girl will rise in a glorious resurrection, complete and radiant.

Kaia is survived by her loving parents, Ryan and Kristina, and her adoring sisters, Dakota and Hailey, who will forever carry her in their hearts. She was welcomed into heaven by her great-grandparents David and Carol Ashley, Lee Hammond, and Lu Ann Smith.

In this sacred season of grief, we cling to the eternal truths: “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” Love is patient, love is kind. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. The love we feel for Kaia did not end on February 19—it continues, unbroken and everlasting.

Our sweet Kaia fulfilled her divine mission in just three beautiful months. She came to earth, brought immeasurable joy, sealed our hearts together in deeper love, and returned home—perfect and pure.

Until we hold you again, precious girl, we will live worthy of that promised reunion.
