Barbara Mae Rogers

Born on March 2nd, 1937 to Everett and Marion Henderson in Hollywood CA.

She was the youngest of 5 children, raised in Hollywood, California, and graduated from Hollywood High School in 1955.

She married in 1956 and had six children: Pamela (James aka Skip) Sierra, Laura (Howard) Arata, Teresa, Kenneth (Jennifer) Rogers, Mark Rogers, and Steven Rogers.

Barbara moved her family to Henderson, NV in 1966 and raised her children there by herself.

She was employed at the Sahara Hotel in the payroll dept and retired from there in 2003. Eventually moving to Cedar City in 2010, where she made it her home and loved it there.

Barbara passed away on August 8, 2023, with her beloved family at her side.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Everett and Marion (MacDonald) Henderson, step-mom Bert, her brother Everett Jr., sisters Pat, Jeanette, and Venita, and grandson Travis Horvath.

She is survived by her six children Pamela, Laura, Teresa, Kenneth, Mark, and Steven.

12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews extended family, and friends.

She was a wonderful mom, role model, and Nana. She will be forever cherished and remembered by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Barbara on Saturday, 19 August 2023 at 1:30 PM at 5534 West 300 South, Cedar City, UT. Online condolences can be posted to www.heartlightafs.com.
